It has been a long-standing tradition of Tártaros Gonzalo Castelló S.L. to grow successfully in tartaric field. With a history which goes back to 1907, our company has been concentrated on the collection and trading the scarce and precious natural raw material, known as Argol.

Long exprrience acquired, good position in raw tartaric market and know how, made it possible for Tártaros Gonzalo Castelló S.L. to build un in 1995 an update and highly technologically advanced Cream of Tartar facility which soon became one of the most competitive at an international standard.

In 1998, following the success of its Cream of Tartar production, the company decided to diversify its production range. A new automatic unit plant, specialising in Rochelle Salt, was built to work with Cream of Tartar facility.
